I work for a Real Estate company in China where building genuine communities is a real priority for us. Too often we see vague attempts at community creation or worse still the development of ‘Community Apps’ that instead of drawing people together in real life; they have the opposite effect - Encouraging people to communicate online rather than in person and missing out on the much richer experiences that can he had in person.
My company is now looking to build an App / software that facilitates real world connections; not replaces them and I wondered if the ‘crowd’ have any good advice about finding like minded Tech Design companies or ways to structure the brief to ensure our Community app does what it is supposed to do - create vibrant real world communities.
This is very open question and perhaps not appropriate for this channel but I hope the ‘crowd’ can provide some guidance!
