Doing what I do (work for Flipd), I’m always aware of new research on children/teens & phone addiction.
However, I’m not up-to-date enough on research concerning adults.
Can anyone direct me to some recommended recent research?
Thanks in advance!
Can you elaborate a little? at the outset, ‘addiction’ is a term that many information technology researchers are trying to avoid using, so perhaps you could explain what kind of behaviours you are interested in?
I’m most looking for any up-to-date studies that reference the effect of over-exposure to screens, and the cognitive effects of cell-phone use, in adults.
There’s so much stuff out there on students/children - but I haven’t seen anything groundbreaking come on adults for a while.
