Some time ago I bumped into some great articles on ElementaryOS on the Fediverse. This OS looks like a great replacement for Windows or MacOS. Have a look yourself:

Then I found the Fediverse account of co-founder and UX designer of Elementary, Cassidy James Blaede, and saw he maintains this very nice resource of UX guidelines:

Though targeted at Elementary OS you’ll find many practices to have broader applicability.
