Similar to the “meta problem” ideas but specific to economics and funding, this is a talk that sets out clear mental framework to think about the economics of open abundance over the current default of scarcity and exclusion. Sometime, I’ll get to writing out the same ideas in other formats.
As this was for the Free Software Foundation’s conference “LibrePlanet”, the framing is aimed at an audience that understands the need for software freedom, so if you’re unfamiliar with those concepts, it’s still accessible just know that it assumes that sort of perspective already.
