The organization Ranking Digital Rights has some real interesting resources wrt Humane Tech. From their About page:
Ranking Digital Rights (RDR) is a non-profit research initiative housed at New America’s Open Technology Institute, working with an international network of partners to set global standards for how companies in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector should respect human rights. RDR produces a Corporate Accountability Index evaluating the world’s most powerful internet, mobile, and telecommunications companies on their disclosed policies and practices affecting freedom of expression and privacy.
They create a yearly Corporate Accountability Index and have the methods for indexation well explained. Though they focus on the big tech companies this list of indicators can be readily applied by any business to measure it themselves, and improve on it. Here’s the list:
