Last spring, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio announced creation of a task force to examine how automated decision systems, aka algorithms, are used by the city. The goal of the task force is to move the city toward greater transparency and equity in its use of technology. It’s the first of its kind in the nation.

The task force will be holding public forums on April 30 and May 30 at 6pm at:
