With regulators starting to crack down on Uber Eats+Deliveroo & co’s exploitation of delivery workers, I decided to take a look at a/. how close these crackdowns are to changing anything & b/. if these services could regulate themselves. It turns out that some can, if France’s FoodChéri is anything to go by: it pays its deliverers 4 times more than average; and per shift, not per delivery.
