“Create hard edges” between on+offline time; set aside 25 minute “deep work” sessions without digital distractions, and take coffee breaks without your phone
Focus on “purposeful use of technology”; call someone instead of emailing or texting them
Don’t check work emails out of office hours; “excellence does not equal ‘always contactable’,” says Willis.
