Background / context: Gaza Hamas Israel propaganda · Issue #1 · PlanetaryCouncil/planetarycouncil.org · GitHub
Obnoxious propaganda that is designed to outrage.
It is likely that someone is paid to shape public opinion. I have a solid BS filter, I can tell little nuance, notice the detail, connect different dots and honestly say: “this sounds like propaganda”.
Would be easier to quit social media and not to care. But then combination of messiah syndrome + imposter sydrome = do I matter to make a difference?

To be absolutely clear: I do condemn Hamas.
This discilamer did not happen in the vacuum, there is loads of history going on:
As my sidehustle I make memes to unify humanity
Today in propaganda machine: female hostages
You can search for “female hostages” and you’ll see how many similarly sounding tweets exist… Beyond random, beyond coincidence.
The fuller truth is that all the female hostages were released during previous deals.
I do have CN (community notes) privileges and maybe I should upvote existing CN so they are displayed. Actually I’m not sure if proposed CN are enabled by deafault or need to opt-in.
Palestine needs to have better memes
EDIT / UPDATE: independent media reporting on female hostages

Informed society should know about such nuances.
Even if disengage, disconnect, do not care I’ll be still (by proxy) affected by the polarisation / fragmentation / negative vibes outside. That’s why I care and raise these concerns

The easiest option is not to care, switch off the empathy.
Cheeky comment: mix of messiah syndrome (I’m the one) and imposter syndrome (I’m not good enough). Finding balance as always, I care about humanity, fixes to the algo and mental health need to happen sooner or later and maybe that’s the tipping point that will spark some action?
Paradox of unifying polarisation
