I’m Katryn Kolt, I was born in a small secluded northern mining town called Flin Flon Manitoba(check it out!) and am now working in downtown Toronto with a startup called Parlay Ideas that is trying to shake up education.

We’ve found that the world is struggling to address increased polarization and improve communication both online and face-to-face. Discussion is a powerful tool that is the cornerstone to the communication that prevents wars and the collaborative innovations that change our world.

My goals are to motivate people to learn how to communicate both online and in their day to day lives in a more meaningful and inclusive way.

I look forward to learning from everyone in this group. I think it’s an extremely cool initiative.
