I am a Norwegian law student writing my master thesis on automated decision-making (GDPR art. 22), as in when algorithms or machine learning bots make decisions that have legal or similarly significant consequences for a person, ultimately restricting that person’s rights and freedoms. I also work in a tech company with partner management and business operations which have inspired me to choose a path into this realm of occupation.
